The Irish Prostate Cancer Outcomes Research (IPCOR) Registry is the focus of the main feature article (PDF) in the current edition of Cancer Professional. IPCOR is an MMI programme that is establishing Ireland’s first registry of prostate cancer outcomes to improve the treatment and care of men diagnosed with prostate cancer, thus maximising their quality of life. This clinically-led study is funded by the Irish Cancer Society in partnership with Movember.

Authors are Dr Áine Murphy, IPCOR Project Manager at MMI, Professor David Galvin, IPCOR PI and Consultant Urologist at Mater Misericordiae and St Vincent’s University Hospitals, Professor Ray Mc Dermott, Consultant Medical Oncologist at Tallaght Hospital and St Vincent’s University Hospital, Professor Linda Sharp, Professor of Cancer Epidemiology, Newcastle University, and Professor Frank Sullivan, Director of the Prostate Cancer Institute, NUI Galway.
